A MICROCOUNTRY AND A 2000 YEAR OLD BRIDGE

San Marino-a country within a country. It is a small town on top of a big hill, near the eastern coast of Italy. From Florence it is a 2 hour train ride to the town of Rimini, followed by a 45 minute bus ride up the big hill to the country of San Marino, a new country for both of us.

After spending a few hours strolling around we took the bus back to Rimini and found ourselves with an hour before the next train back to Florence. We wandered around Rimini and found the 2000 year old Tiberius Bridge built by the Romans.
