RAIN, RAIN, RAIN, A DOME, AND A BRIDGE
The sun was shining when we got up this morning,
the tide had receded, so it was out for a few more pictures before packing up
and heading to Florence. By the time we went back to the hotel, there were some
ominous clouds moving in, an by the time I finished blogging, it was pouring
rain and the wind was blowing. The faster vaporetto to the train station was
about a 10 minute walk from the hotel, and despite our coats and umbrellas, we
got soaked getting to it-quite an adventure.
By the time we got to Florence the rain had stopped and the sun was out. Off to see the Duomo and the Rialto Bridge. The sun was great for photo ops.
