A TRIO OF SITES
We woke up this morning in Aburatsu. After
disembarking we hired a cab driver to take us to three different sites we
wanted to see. NOTE: we are so grateful Jim can communicate with the Japanese
people, because they do not, for the most part, understand English.
Udo-jingu is a Shinto shrine located inside a
cave on the coast.
There are vendors at all the shrines selling charms and fortunes to leave |
Sun Messe Nichinan contains a full reproduction
of seven of the Easter Island Moai.

The final stop was Aoshima Island which holds two
sites:
1) Aoshima Jinja
And 2) Oni no Sentakuita, devil’s washboard,
a geological phenomenon. They were absolutely amazing!
