RAIN, RAIN GO AWAY

The ship arrived in Kochi this morning where we were greeted with a light rain. A 20 minute shuttle ride took us into the city where we walked around and saw a few of the sights. Fortunately the shopping area was covered and kept us out of the rain most of the day.

    The Harimaya-bashi bridge.

One of the popular foods in Kochi is Katsuo Tataki, a lightly seared bonito. We found a place in side the Hirome Market who served it that had a long line of people waiting to buy it so we decided to try it. Honestly, it was to die for…so tender and delicious! Too bad we forgot to take a picture of it!

Down the street from the market was the Kochi Castle.
