LOTS OF RAIN AND A BIG CASTLE
We woke up to pouring rain, back in Kobe. We
purchased the 14 day cruise, but most of the passengers purchased a 7 day
cruise and disembarked this morning. We got off, caught the monorail to the
Kobe train station, caught a train to Osaka, caught the Osaka loop train and
got off at the Osaka Castle stop. Then we walked to Osaka Castle in the
continued pouring rain. Jim didn’t take any pictures in order to protect his
camera from the downpour so all of these pictures are from my phone.
On the way back to the train station we
stopped for lunch. Jim got okonomiyaki, a Japanese savory pancake. He chose the
Hiroshima style which included noodles.

DAY AT SEA
Today we slept in, hung out, played Phase 10
and had a relaxing day.
