A WINNIE THE POOH DAY
The plan for today was to go to Wittenberg. Sadly we slept in until 0900, it was a cold and blustery day, and I hadn’t done the proper research about getting to Wittenberg. I knew we had to pay for a train leaving from the Berlin Bahnhof, so we took our U2 there. We got there about 1030, found out the soonest train wasn’t until 1230, and it was going to cost 123 Euros. Since it was such a miserable day we decided to save the money, stay in Berlin, and do the Prenzlauer Berg Walk. It was so miserable Jim didn’t even take any pictures. We came back to our room, took a nap, then strolled down the main road which housed a lot of stores, then returned to the “Schnitzel House” where we ate the first night and got schnitzel this time. Jim liked it better than the other restaurant, but I didn’t think it was as good. Tomorrow we pack up and head to Southampton where we will spend the night before boarding the ship on Saturday.
