A LONG TRAIN RIDE AND A BEAUTIFUL
ABBEY
We headed out of St Jean de Luz at
0630 on the train headed for Paris, an 8 hour ride, followed by a 1 hour
layover, then a 2 hour train ride to Renne, followed by another 1 hour layover,
and a final train ride to Pontorson, arriving at 1730. Katerina, the owner of
the B&B we were spending the night at, offered to drive us out to Mont St
Michel since there were no more buses running. It truly is breathtaking.
