A NEW COUNTRY!
We met up with Jack and Mimi, stopped at the Sagrada Familia for some morning sun pictures, then embarked on a 3 hour drive to Andorra, a new country for all of us. It is a micro country nestled in the Pyrenees Mountains. We found a little hiking path above the city where people have their gardens on the side of the mountain.My Sprint service got messed up leaving me with no data for 5 weeks! Before we left I found out via Facebook that 2 couples from our Africa cruise were going to be in Barcelona on a Celebrity cruise today and tomorrow. I was so sad because we were going to Andorra today and leaving early tomorrow for San Sebastian. After we arrived in Andorra I was able to connect to some WiFi for a few minutes...a message came through from one of our friends telling us they were driving to Andorra today and spending the night!! They arrived shortly before we headed back to Barcelona, but we were able to meet up with them for a short visit.
