HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEN!

THAT'S A LOT OF WATER!

We took our time getting ready this morning, then headed for the Buffalo airport to pick up my niece, Kim, who flew in from Savannah GA. After passing through border patrol again we arrived at Niagara Falls--it is amazing, indescribable, beautiful! The only downside is the way the area has been built up with casinos and hotels--gives the feeling of Vegas, not the beauty of nature. Hank got us a room on the 41st floor of the Embassy Suites with an incredible view. There is a small window I opened allowing us to fall asleep to the sound of crashing water.

Maid in the Mist goes right up to the base of the falls and with its engines going sits stationary for the up close and personal experience.

It was an incredible day. Jim has only gone through part of his pictures, so I may add more.
