AU REVOIR FRENCH CANADA...A LONG DRIVE AHEAD
Jim got up early this morning, went down to the ferry, and crossed over to get some morning shots of the skyline.
He also walked out the gate and got some shots of the Parliament building.
Our goal today is to reach the border town of Kingston, Ontario, Canada, 340 miles from Quebec City. On the way out of town we stopped to see Chute-Montmorency (Montmorency Falls), a 273' waterfall. It is actually higher than Niagara Falls, but not nearly as wide. Nevertheless it was beautiful.
this eddy was off to the side of the falls, filled with logs |
We had considered stopping in Montreal, but again the traffic was horrendous, so we just drove onto Kingston.
