FRIES, WAFFLES, AND CHOCOLATE
First stop of the cruise was Zeebrugge, Belgium, gateway to Bruges, Ghent, and Brussels. We spent a couple of days in Bruges during our 2013 rail tour of Europe. We loved it then, so we decided to go back and spend the day there today. It was very cold and windy, but the sun came out frequently and Jim was able to get some nice pictures. We didn’t leave before enjoying some frites, a waffle with caramel sauce and the best whipped cream we’ve ever eaten, and some chocolates.
