THE CITY OF CZARS/TSARS
We woke up this morning in St. Petersburg, Russia and met up with our private tour guide, Dmitri. We were in a small group with 12 other couples plus an adorable 3 year old named Emma who, along with her parents, are from Malta. We have 2 days here. Today we drove around the city with a few photo stops, rode the subway in order to see some of the amazing architecture at some of the stops, visited Peterhof Palace with its magnificent fountains, and ended the day at Catherine Palace with its jaw dropping interior. Lunch consisted of a delicious potato type salad, warm borscht, and beef stroganoff.
