A DAY AT SEA, A NEW CRUISE, ANOTHER DAY AT SEA

Friday

It was a typical leisurely day at sea. 

Saturday

The ship returned to Southampton, dropped off most of the passengers, then readied itself for a new group of passengers embarking to the Norwegian Fjords. Jim woke up this morning with vertigo and stayed in bed all morning, but felt better this afternoon, so we got off the ship and walked around Southampton. There were lots of crowds out since it was Saturday. We found a grocery store where we spent our remaining 5 pounds on Coke for Jim and some M&M’s. We ended up with 50 pence change.

Sunday

Jim woke up in the middle of the night with a sore throat, runny nose, and a headache, so he spent most of the day in bed hoping it will get better before our stop in Bergen tomorrow.
