END OF THE WORLD
The ship docked early in Ushuaia, Argentina
this morning. They call it “fin del Mundo”, end of the world. It is surrounded
by mountains and is a pretty little city. We chose not to take any excursions
and just walked around the town. Jim even found a cemetery. The weather today
was very bipolar—sun/rain/sun/rain.
We are now sailing through the channel
islands. The captain closed all of the outside decks due to 80 mph winds! The
crazy thing is the boat is hardly rocking and it is surprisingly smooth
sailing.
